NOTE: THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT OFFER “REAL MONEY GAMBLING” OR AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN REAL MONEY OR PRIZES. THIS COMMUNITY WEBSITE DOES NOT OFFER PURCHASES. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ACCESS OR USE THIS COMMUNITY WEBSITE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE TERMS INCLUDE A MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER (SECTION 14) THAT REQUIRE DISPUTES TO BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU MAY OPT OUT WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 14.

1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you”) and DoubleU Games Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”) governing your access to and use of the DoubleU Hub community website located at hub.doubleucasino.com, including the DoubleU Plaza metaverse space made available at hub.doubleucasino.com/plaza, and all content, features, and services made available on it (collectively, the “Community Site”). By accessing or using the Community Site, or by clicking “I agree,” you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Community Site. The DoubleU Hub community website and the DoubleU Plaza metaverse space are made available together as a single service, and both are governed by these Terms. The Community Site may be accessed without signing in. If you access the Community Site without signing in, you accept these Terms by proceeding past the entry screen, which presents an age confirmation together with links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
-
2. Relationship to the DoubleU Casino Game
The Community Site is a companion service related to the DoubleU Casino social casino game (the “Game”), which is operated separately and made available at doubleucasino.com and through mobile app platforms. The Game is governed by its own separate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and not by these Terms. These Terms govern only the Community Site. Where your access to the Community Site uses your DoubleU Casino account credentials, your Game account remains subject to the Game’s terms, and a serious violation of these Terms may also affect your linked Game account as described in Section 12.
-
3. Eligibility; Age Requirement
The Community Site is intended only for users who are 21 years of age or older. By using the Community Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly permit users under 21 to access or use interactive Community features, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We may implement age verification or self-certification measures, including an age gate at entry, and may suspend or terminate access where we have reason to believe a user does not meet the age requirement. Because the Community Site may be used without signing in, we present an age confirmation screen on entry; by proceeding past that screen you represent that you are at least 21 years old.
-
4. Accounts; Sign-In With Your Game Account
The Community Site does not require separate account registration. Certain interactive features require you to sign in with your existing DoubleU Casino account. You are responsible for activity occurring under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You may not use another user’s account, transfer your account, or make it available to others. Posting or participation privileges may be conditioned on account criteria we determine, such as a minimum account age of at least seven (7) days after account creation. You may browse the Community Site without signing in, but certain features — including voting, quizzes, fortune content, and the delivery of in-Game bonuses — are available only after you sign in with your existing DoubleU Casino account, which may be linked to a third-party social media account such as Facebook. No new account can be created on the Community Site.
-
5. Community Features
The Community Site may offer features such as video content, slot introductions, voting, quizzes, fortune content, DUC News, a jukebox, the DoubleU Plaza metaverse space at hub.doubleucasino.com/plaza — where you may configure an avatar from preset options and move within a shared virtual space — and — when launched — the DUC Lounge community board. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. Interactive features that enable you to communicate with other users are “Communication Channels,” and you have no expectation of privacy in content you make available through them.
5A. DoubleU Plaza (Metaverse)
DoubleU Plaza is a shared virtual space in which your avatar and your activity within the space may be visible to other users. DoubleU Plaza does not offer chat, messaging, or file upload, and avatars are configured using preset options only; interaction with other users is limited to movement and preset emotes. You agree that, within DoubleU Plaza, you will not: harass, stalk, or disrupt other users; evade blocking, restriction, or moderation measures; impersonate the Company, its employees, or other users; or use the space to promote real-money gambling or any illegal activity. We may restrict or remove avatars and suspend or terminate access to DoubleU Plaza where these Terms or the Community Guidelines are violated. If chat, messaging, or upload features are introduced in the future, additional terms and notices will apply at that time.
-
6. In-Community Bonuses; No Cash Value
From time to time we may deliver bonuses in connection with your participation on the Community Site. Any such bonus consists solely of virtual currency or virtual goods (such as virtual coins or free spins) credited to your in-Game inbox. These items have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be redeemed for real money or anything of value, and are subject to the Game’s terms governing virtual currency and goods. The Community Site itself does not offer purchases, and no purchase is necessary to access or use the Community Site.
-
7. User Content and License
“User Content” means any content you post, upload, submit, or transmit on or through the Community Site, including posts, comments, images, and submissions. You retain the rights you hold in your User Content. By making User Content available, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display that User Content in connection with operating and providing the Community Site and our services. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party.
-
8. Monitoring and Removal
We are under no obligation to monitor User Content but may review, screen, filter, and remove any content, and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Community Site or any feature, at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. User Content is neither endorsed nor controlled by us, and you are solely responsible for your User Content and activity.
-
9. Reporting Infringing Content
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and delete any User Content in our sole discretion, including infringement by a user of third-party copyrighted materials. If you are aware of any content posted on the Community Site that violates these Terms, please contact us at
support@doubleucasino.com with as much detail as possible, including a copy of the underlying material, its location, and the reason it should be removed. Please note that filing a complaint will not guarantee its removal.
-
10. Community Guidelines
Your use of the Community Site is subject to our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Guidelines prohibit, among other things, illegal content, promotion of real-money gambling, harassment and hate speech, sexually explicit content, content that sexualizes or endangers minors, impersonation, spam, doxxing, infringement, and interference with the Community Site.
-
11. Privacy
Your use of the Community Site is subject to our Community Privacy Policy and our California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA), which describe how we collect, use, and disclose your information and are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
-
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Community Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. Because the Community Site uses your DoubleU Casino account credentials, a serious violation may also result in action against your linked Game account under the Game’s terms.
-
13. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability
THE COMMUNITY SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE COMMUNITY SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIVE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$500) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (180) DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Community Site, your violation of these Terms, or your User Content.
-
14. Binding Arbitration and Class Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. It requires you to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis and limits the manner in which you can seek relief.
Informal Resolution. Before initiating arbitration, the party asserting a dispute shall send a written Notice of Dispute to the other party (to us, at
legal@doubleugames.com) containing the claimant’s name, contact information, account identifier, a description of the dispute, and the relief sought, and shall negotiate in good faith for thirty (30) days. Compliance with this paragraph is a precondition to commencing arbitration.
Agreement to Arbitrate. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Community Site or these Terms shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in Seattle, Washington, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek relief for intellectual-property infringement in court.
Class Waiver. You and we agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Mass Arbitration. If twenty-five (25) or more similar demands are filed by claimants represented by the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules and associated fee schedule shall apply, and the AAA and the arbitrator(s) may batch or stage demands. No arbitration fee is payable for any claimant until a compliant Notice of Dispute has been sent for that claimant.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of this Section 14 within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms by emailing
legal@doubleugames.com with your name, address, and the words “OPT OUT.” If the class waiver or the Mass Arbitration provision is found unenforceable in its entirety, this entire arbitration agreement shall be void and disputes shall proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Limitations Period. Any claim must be filed within two (2) years of the event giving rise to it, or it is permanently barred.
-
15. Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any claim not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. We may monitor and block access from jurisdictions where the Community Site is illegal or restricted.
-
15A. Additional Terms for Users in the EU, EEA, and the UK
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, the following applies notwithstanding Sections 13, 14, and 15:
(a) nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence;
(b) the agreement to arbitrate and the class action waiver in Section 14 do not apply to you, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Community Site may be brought before the courts of your country of residence or, at your option, the courts of the place where the Company is established;
(c) the limitation of liability in Section 13 applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law;
(d) the two (2) year limitation period in Section 14 does not shorten any statutory limitation period available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
Governing law. The laws of the State of Delaware continue to apply to the extent permitted, but you retain the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms deprives you of that protection.
-
16. Notice for California Users
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, California 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
-
17. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of material changes by reasonable means, such as posting a notice on the Community Site. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
-
18. Entire Agreement; Contact
These Terms, together with the Community Guidelines and the Community Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Community Site. Questions may be directed to
