1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage and session recording tools, for the purposes described below. This Cookie Policy explains how DoubleU Games Co., Ltd. uses these technologies on the DoubleU Hub community website at hub.doubleucasino.com, including the DoubleU Plaza metaverse space at hub.doubleucasino.com/plaza (together, the “Community Site”), and is incorporated by reference into our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use
(a) Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Community Site to function and cannot be switched off. They support core functions such as maintaining your session, signing in with your DoubleU Casino account, security and fraud prevention, load balancing, recording that you have completed the age confirmation screen, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cookies are stored for the duration of your browsing session or, where they record a setting or confirmation, for up to 400 days.
(b) Functional storage
These remember choices you make so that the Community Site behaves as you expect — for example your background music volume and sound on/off and mute settings. These preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies, and they remain until you delete them; they are not transmitted to our servers. If you decline this category, the Community Site will still work but some preferences will not be retained.
(c) Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the Community Site — for example which pages are viewed, how features such as voting or quizzes are used, and where errors occur — so that we can measure and improve performance. For this purpose we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity also records interactions such as clicks and navigation within the Community Site in order to identify usability issues; we configure it to mask input fields so that information you type is not captured. These providers act as our service providers and are contractually prohibited from using the information for their own purposes, including advertising. Analytics cookies are stored for up to 400 days (approximately 13 months). Individual cookies have shorter lifespans — for example, some are stored for 24 hours or one day. Google requests a two-year lifespan for certain analytics cookies, but browsers currently limit this to a maximum of 400 days.
(d) Advertising cookies
These are used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you advertising for our games on other websites and platforms. For this purpose we use Meta Pixel, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising. These cookies may involve the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; see our CCPA/CPRA Privacy Notice and the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer for your choices. Advertising cookies are stored for up to 13 months.

We use advertising cookies as described in Section 2(d). Where required by law, we place them only after you have given your consent, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie Settings. We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device from which the signal is sent. California residents may also exercise their rights as described in our CCPA/CPRA Privacy Notice.

4. Cookies Set Across Our Websites
The Community Site operates on a subdomain of doubleucasino.com. As a result, some cookies set on the DoubleU Casino website may also be sent when you visit the Community Site. Those cookies are described in the privacy and cookie disclosures applicable to that website.

When you first visit the Community Site, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of the Community Site.
